I’m an engineer with over a decade of experience building systems in the cannabis industry. Today, I lead efforts to modernize data pipelines to support large-scale cannabis retail, manufacturing, and cultivation operations while navigating state-by-state compliance requirements.
Starting in 2016, I began supporting and contributing to POS, e-commerce, and ERP systems for the cannabis industry before most cannabis-focused platforms were even on the radar, bridging the gaps between technology and regulation without a real playbook. During that time, I also helped manage IT infrastructure for dispensaries and manufacturing sites by setting up and supporting the technology needed for state compliance.
Thankfully, the cannabis tech stack has matured. That shift lets me focus on the work I care about: connecting systems, compiling data, and applying years of regulatory and operational experience to help use cannabis data in smarter, more meaningful ways.
Along the way, I took a short break from cannabis to work in cybersecurity, deepening my expertise in application and infrastructure penetration testing and secure software development. That experience sharpened my approach to building systems, processes, and technology with a strong start.
When I’m not working on tech, I’m skiing, exploring the Rockies, or recharging in the quiet of nature.
